Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report presents Discovery's shared-value sustainability strategy through three pillars covering products and services, workforces and communities. It highlights a further 3% reduction in emissions per person during 2017 and an 80% waste-recycling rate, alongside the rollout of an ISO 14000 (2015) environmental management system. The Discovery Fund supported 57 projects with a total contribution of R32 million during the 2017 financial year.
