Overview

The report presents Discovery's 2018 integrated performance and describes its Shared-Value Insurance model, which operated in 19 countries and impacted millions of lives. It highlights R8.3 billion normalised operating profit, continued development of Discovery Bank and the move into a five-star-rated green headquarters. Social-impact disclosures include R32.1 million provided to 44 community health organisations and more than 10 000 employee volunteering hours.
