Overview

The report presents DEWA's 2016 sustainability performance across operations, energy and climate, water, customers, employees, and society. It reports 11,485 employees and total carbon emissions of 21.79 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent, while highlighting renewable-energy, efficiency, water-management, and customer-service initiatives. The report also includes a GRI content index and Ernst & Young's independent limited-assurance statement over selected indicators.
