Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents DEWA's 2017 sustainability performance across economic, environmental and social topics, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core option. Highlights include total carbon emissions of 22.23 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent, major clean-energy and efficiency initiatives, and a workforce of 11,691 employees. KPMG provided independent limited assurance over selected performance areas, including water, system efficiency and occupational health and safety.
