Overview

The report describes Dubai Islamic Bank's 2023 sustainability progress, led by a US$ 1Bn Sustainable Sukuk and expanded sustainable-finance activity. It reports initiatives covering digitalisation, renewable energy integration, water conservation, waste reduction and 51,000 trees planted. Sustainability governance was strengthened through Management and Board Sustainability Committees. Selected environmental and social KPIs were independently assured by SGS Gulf LTD at a limited level.
