Sustainability Report

The report presents Duke Energy's 2017 sustainability performance across customers, growth, operations, and employees. It highlights a 31 percent reduction in generation-fleet CO2 emissions from 2005, 80 percent solid-waste recycling, and two work-related fatalities. It also reports 29,143 employees and a board-level committee assigned sustainability oversight in early 2018.
