The report highlights environmental improvements alongside continued retail growth: landfill share fell from 32% to 24%, and 76% of store waste was recycled. It reports a CRC-defined carbon footprint of 23,234 tonnes of CO2 from core supplies and a 3.2% reduction in electricity use in like-for-like stores. Dunelm also completed ethical audits of all product suppliers by June 2012, with no critical issues outstanding.
