CSR Report

The report presents JR East Group's FY2015 safety, environmental and community activities across a wide-ranging CSR program. It reports five work-related fatalities involving Group and partner-company employees and describes extensive safety measures. Environmental disclosures include 2.23 million tons of CO2 emissions, energy conservation, renewable-energy projects, waste recycling and environmental accounting. The report also identifies six material CSR issues and reproduces a limited external assurance report by KPMG AZSA Sustainability Co., Ltd.
