The report describes eBay's achievement of supporting all operations with 100% renewable energy in 2024, one year ahead of schedule. It also sets an SBTi-validated net-zero GHG target across the value chain by 2045 and reports a 92% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2019 baseline. Recommerce created $5 billion in positive economic impact while avoiding 1.6 million metric tons of carbon emissions and 70,000 metric tons of waste.
