Sustainability Report

The report is EEW Energy from Waste's inaugural 2018 sustainability report, introducing a company-wide sustainability strategy organized around three action areas. It documents a stakeholder-informed materiality analysis and a roadmap of measurable goals covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, phosphorus recovery, and safety. Operationally, EEW reports 18 plants, 4.9 million tonnes of annual recovery capacity, 1,090 employees in its 2018 key-figures table, and 2,416,161 t CO2 of Scope 1 emissions. The report follows the GRI Standards Core option, with selected disclosures receiving EY limited assurance.
