Overview

The report presents Emira's 2011 sustainability approach as formalised and target-oriented, with the STREM Board accountable for sustainability and an environmental committee managing initiatives. It reports Level 8 BEE ratings for Emira and STREM, alongside a 12,0% BEE holding in Emira's PIs. Environmental actions included recycling, composting and energy-saving appliances, while Emira also submitted a report to CDP.
