Overview

The report describes e&'s first Group-wide carbon footprint exercise and SBTi-validated emissions targets, including net zero for Scope 1 and 2 by 2040 and Scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2050. It reports 2023 global Scope 1 emissions of 390,610 tCO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 1,518,972 tCO2e and total energy consumption of 4,072,911 MWh. The report also highlights the company's adoption of the UN Women's Empowerment Principles and stronger DEI governance, while noting that much of the wider sustainability data remains focused on UAE operations.
