In 2020, Group-wide Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions were 24 % below the 2014 base year, while reported Scope 3 emissions totaled 5,321,746 tCO2e. The company reported that 93 % of Swiss milk processed met the Sustainable Swiss Milk standard, but global waste reduction reached only 10 % against a 20 % target. Emmi also set a netZERO 2050 vision.
