Sustainability Report

The report describes ENDESA's 2017 progress toward a lower-carbon energy model, including a 32% reduction in absolute CO2 emissions versus 2005, 44% CO2-free electricity production and 879 MW of renewable capacity awarded. It also highlights 166 sustainability projects benefiting more than 950,000 people and continued investment in digital transformation and communities. Workforce reporting records 9,706 employees and one fatal accident, alongside a lower accident frequency index. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and independently reviewed by Ernst & Young under limited assurance.
