Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report describes ERA's 2008 sustainable development performance across Community, Country and Contribution. It reports 519 employees and a record 95 Indigenous employees at year-end. Energy consumption was 1.457 petajoules and total emissions were in the order of 155,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. Environmental work included water-treatment expansion, biodiversity programmes and construction of a trial landform for rehabilitation.
