The report is EPCL's first sustainability report, covering 2009 and externally assured against GRI Application level A+. It highlights completion of the integrated chemical complex and the transition to expanded PVC, EDC/VCM, power and chlor-alkali operations. Environmental initiatives included a 100 hec plantation, more than 100,000 mangrove saplings and water-conservation projects.
