Sustainability Report

The report presents Eni's contribution to a just energy transition through an integrated business model focused on operational excellence, long-term carbon neutrality and alliances for local development. It reports 31,321 employees and highlights 2019 progress including lower upstream GHG intensity, reduced flaring and an 89% freshwater reuse rate. The company sets a net-zero carbon footprint target for Eni Group operations by 2040 and an 80% reduction in Scope 1, 2 and 3 net emissions by 2050 compared with 2018. The sustainability report includes a materiality process and an independently reproduced PwC limited assurance report.
