Annual Report

The report presents Eni's integrated 2023 financial and sustainability performance, including 33,142 Group employees and 516.2 millions of GJ of total energy consumption. It reports 38.69 million tonnes CO2 eq. of direct Scope 1 emissions, 0.73 million tonnes CO2 eq. of location-based Scope 2 emissions and 3.4 million of tonnes of production waste. The report sets a 35% reduction target for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2030, reports 44% women on the Board and one work-related fatality, and describes the path to Net Zero by 2050. PwC provided limited assurance over the consolidated non-financial statement, excluding the European Taxonomy paragraph.
