Sustainability Performance

The report presents Eni's 2023 sustainability performance across a five-year KPI series, organized around carbon neutrality by 2050, operational excellence and alliances for development. It reports 2023 gross Scope 1 emissions of 38,685,129 tCO2eq and location-based Scope 2 emissions of 728,411 tCO2eq, with Scope 3 categories disclosed separately. Workforce disclosures include 32,321 employees and 27.38% women employees, while the safety table records one work-related fatality. The report includes GRI, TCFD, SASB and other reference tables and reproduces PwC assurance over GHG data.
