UKCS Environmental Statement

The report describes EnQuest's 2015 offshore environmental performance, with all assets within the 30 mg/l average oil-in-produced-water limit. It records 11 unplanned spills to sea, comprising seven hydrocarbon and four chemical spills. It reports 518,784 tonnes of CO2 emissions from flaring and power generation, with external verification completed in early 2016. Waste initiatives included thermal processing on the Transocean Leader, estimated to avoid 16,000 tonnes of cuttings going to landfill over Kraken's 25 wells.
