UKCS Environmental Statement

The report describes EnQuest's 2023 UKCS environmental performance, including a Board-approved commitment to reach net zero for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2040. UK offshore operations where EnQuest was duty holder produced 298,844 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions, while Scope 3 Category 5 waste accounted for 450 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. The Group was awarded four CCS licences in 2023, with available reservoirs estimated to have a minimum 500 million tonnes of CO2 storage capacity.
