Corporate Responsibility Summary

The report is Harsco's first-ever Corporate Responsibility Summary, covering its 2016 responsibility activities. It highlights a companywide employee engagement survey with more than 80 percent workforce participation and a newly updated Code of Business Conduct required for every employee. Safety performance improved, with the 2016 TRIR at 0.68 and a 60 percent improvement over five years. Environmental highlights include 30 ISO 14001 certified sites, 107,183 tons of landfilled waste reduced, and 4,600,000 liters of diesel fuel consumption reduced.
