Annual Report

The report describes a post-spinoff sustainability program organized around five focus areas, including customer fairness, energy efficiency, renewables, health and safety, and diversity. It reports CDP grades of A- for climate reporting and B for water disclosures. Following the transfer of fossil-fueled generation entities to Uniper, E.ON reported 1.2 million metric tons of carbon emissions from power and heat production in 2016. The report also notes three employees died on the job during the year, with another fatal traffic accident reported.
