Overview

The report sets out Statoil's record 2004 performance, including NOK 306.2 billion in operating revenues and 23,899 employees. It reports three contractor fatalities, a 1.5 million tonnes carbon-dioxide reduction target for 2010, and operational measures including carbon capture, storage and emissions trading. It also documents broad environmental, labour, human-rights and social-investment programmes, a GRI index, UN Global Compact participation and an independent Ernst & Young review.
