Annual Report

The report presents Equinor's first sustainability statement prepared under CSRD and ESRS, supported by a double materiality assessment and EU Taxonomy disclosure. It reports a 34% reduction in operated Scope 1+2 emissions from the 2015 baseline, with 2024 emissions of 11.0 million tonnes CO2e. Northern Lights Phase I was completed and ready to receive CO2, while renewable generation reached 2.9 TWh. The group reported 25,155 employees and continued company-wide human-rights due diligence.
