Overview

The report describes ELS' 2020 sustainability strategy, Our Nature, spanning environmental stewardship, employee support and governance. Environmental highlights include LED retrofits across more than 85 properties, estimated savings of over 5 million kWh, on-site solar generation, water conservation and biodiversity initiatives. Social programs included 3,030 community-impact volunteer hours and average training of 17 hours per employee. Governance was strengthened through an ESG Taskforce reporting quarterly to the Board's Compensation, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
