Corporate Social Responsibility Report

The report describes Ercros' 2017 transition away from mercury-based chlorine production toward membrane technology, which reduced electricity use and was the year's major social-responsibility development. It reports 597 thousand tons of combined direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions for scopes 1 and 2, pending external verification. The workforce ended the year at 1,321 people, while the five-member board reached gender parity with two women. Bureau Veritas verified the CSR report against the relevant chemical-sector CSR indicators and awarded an Excellent “in Accordance” rating.
