Overview

The report presents Erste Group's first ESRS-based consolidated Sustainability Statement, supported by a double materiality assessment. Climate disclosures include 2024 gross Scope 1 emissions of 16,803 tCO2e, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 42,619 tCO2e and gross Scope 3 emissions of 42,329,822 tCO2e, alongside a 57% renewable-energy share. The Group also reports a net-zero portfolio ambition for 2050 and a 90% reduction target for operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. Its workforce totaled 49,094 employees at year-end, with zero work-related fatalities reported.
