Sustainable Development Report

The report presents ERG's 2022 group-wide sustainability performance across people, safety, climate, energy, communities and responsible value chains. It reports 68,776 directly employed people, US$96 million in worldwide community social investment and five employee plus two contractor work-related fatalities. Total energy consumption was 276,250 terajoules and reported GHG emissions were 29.9 million tonnes of CO2e. The report also highlights ERG's responsible-sourcing frameworks, materiality assessment and community programmes across Kazakhstan, Africa and Brazil.
