Environmental Report

Overview

The report presents Eurobank's 2012 environmental performance under an EMAS-verified management system, covering energy, water, paper, recycling and environmental risk controls. It reports 44,002.72 tons of total GHG emissions in CO2e and 68,800 cubic meters of water consumption. Waste initiatives included recycling 43,330 kg of electrical and electronic equipment and 248 tons of paper, while the Group continued green banking and environmental sponsorship programmes. TÜV HELLAS verified the report's conformity and stated that its data provided a valid, reliable and accurate view.
