Overview

The report describes EGAT's 2023 sustainability performance across environmental, social, and governance priorities. Greenhouse gas emissions were reported at 2,978.91 tCO2e for Scope 1 and 14,975.67 tCO2e for Scope 2, alongside 135,282.81 GJ of total energy consumption and expanded solar generation. EGAT reported 2,981 employees, 223,818.79 total training hours, and a 22.22% share of women on its nine-member board. Bureau Veritas Certification Taiwan independently assured the report using AA1000AS V3 Type I moderate assurance.
