The report presents Evonik's 2009 CR performance across specialty chemicals, energy and real estate, with group sales of 13,076 € million and 38,681 employees. It describes the new CR organization, including Executive Board responsibility and a CR Steering Committee. Evonik joined the UN Global Compact in 2009 and issued its first progress report. Selected strategy and performance data received a limited PwC assurance review.
