Overview

The report presents EVRAZ's 2019 sustainability performance across workforce, safety, climate, water and community topics. It reports 71,215 employees at year-end, 16 work-related fatalities, and Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 39.06 and 4.28 million tCO2e, respectively. The Group also reports 205.32 million m3 of fresh water consumed for production needs and describes HSE, environmental, employee-development and community programmes supported by GRI reporting, TCFD mapping and EY limited assurance.
