Overview

The report describes EVRAZ's 2021 environmental programme, including a revised HSE Policy aligned with its 2030 Environmental Strategy, biodiversity and water initiatives, and Clean Air and dust-suppression actions. It reports a 105% non-mining waste recycling and reuse rate and a 2.9% year-on-year reduction in total atmospheric emissions from steel production. EVRAZ also invested US$71.2 million in environmental performance projects and US$30.5 million in environmental compliance procedures.
