Overview

The report describes Exxaro's 2023 progress toward carbon neutrality, including a decarbonisation roadmap and a carbon-neutral goal for 2050. It reports 310 ktCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 643 ktCO2e of Scope 2 emissions and 68 156 ktCO2e of Scope 3 emissions, alongside a workforce of 20 665 employees. Selected safety, social, environmental and GHG KPIs were subject to KPMG reasonable assurance.
