Sustainability Report

The report covers First Solar's 2016 global sustainability performance and reports a 47% reduction in company-wide carbon intensity since 2008. It sets a new goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions intensity per watt produced by 45% by 2021 against a 2008 baseline. The company also reports 2016 operational indicators including 714,630 MWh of electricity consumption, 3.28 billion liters of water use, and 28.22 million kilograms of waste generation.
