Corporate Responsibility Report

The report highlights FirstGroup's 5% reduction in carbon emissions per million pounds of revenue and a 21% reduction in waste to landfill in UK Bus. It reports an estimated total carbon footprint of 3,046,864 tonnes CO2e and describes climate, energy and waste initiatives. The report also covers employee, customer safety and community performance, including a £1.36m community contribution. ERM CVS provided assurance over selected 2012/13 performance indicators and AA1000 Principles alignment.
