Annual Report and Accounts

The report presents FirstGroup's 2016/17 sustainability performance through a dedicated Corporate responsibility section. It reports a Group carbon footprint of 2,418,292 tonnes of CO2e, with Scope 1, location-based Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions disclosed separately. Safety reporting records one employee fatality and nine passenger fatalities during the year, while the Board diversity snapshot shows women represented 11.1% of Board Directors at 31 March 2017.
