Our Environmental Performance Report

The report describes FirstGroup's FY 2023 environmental performance, highlighting an 8% reduction in total GHG emissions from FY 2022 and a 24% reduction from FY 2019. It reports a 63% Group-level Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by FY 2035 and a 20% absolute Scope 3 reduction target by FY 2028. Renewable energy use was 172,559,038 kWh, total energy consumption 3,107,198,003 kWh, water use 684,087 m3 and waste generated 17,744 tonnes. Carbon Intelligence provided limited-assurance verification of the environmental metrics.
