Environmental Performance Report

The report describes FirstGroup's FY2024 progress toward decarbonisation, including a 27% reduction in Group Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from the FY2020 base year and a 20% Scope 3 fuel- and energy-related emissions target for 2028. It reports 3,060,776 MWh of total energy consumption, with renewable energy use stated as 6.3% in the narrative and 6% in the data table. The Group also reports a 13% zero-emission bus fleet, 97% of operations by revenue covered by ISO 14001, 660,503 m3 of water consumption and 16,782 tonnes of waste.
