Sustainability Report (Executive Summary)

Overview

The report is FirstRand's fourth annual sustainability report and a condensed executive summary for 2007. It highlights the creation of a Group-wide Environmental Forum to address direct environmental impacts and environmental finance solutions. Corporate social investment increased by 20% to R84 million, supported by a more focused thematic and multi-year grant approach. FirstRand also reports that it is a signatory to the UN Global Compact.
