Overview

The report describes FirstRand's 2018 shared-value approach across financial inclusion, transformation, social investment and environmental management. Group workforce was 46 284, with 60% female representation. The group screened 15 252 transactions through ESRA and reported total carbon emissions of 224 190 metric tonnes for South African operations, a 13% reduction from 2017, while progressing toward 2020 emissions targets.
