Annual Review

The report describes Fonterra's support for sustainable farming through Supply Fonterra, including environmental and food-safety requirements and farmer risk-management initiatives. It reports a two per cent reduction in manufacturing greenhouse-gas intensity from 2011/12 to 2012/13, alongside waste-reuse and recycling efforts and fresh-water monitoring. The report also records zero fatal incidents covering employees, contractors and members of the public in operations within Fonterra's control.
