Annual Report

The report records Group net sales of CHF 1,707.2 million and total headcount of 6,014 in 2011, while noting that the strong Swiss franc reduced sales in the corporate currency. It describes Forbo’s agreement to sell its industrial adhesives and synthetic polymers activities, a transaction completed in March 2012. For sustainability, the report highlights 600 realizable projects selected from around 1,700 ideas to save energy, offcuts, and resources, as well as a switch to high-pressure-water cleaning in one Bonding Systems process.
