Seeing Report

The report focuses on climate change and forest carbon while reviewing Forests NSW's social, environmental and economic performance for 2006-07. It reports total energy consumption of 92 418 GJ, CO2 emissions of 8 989 tonnes, and 1,045 employees. The year included major plantation and forest fires, alongside a safety performance challenge and a downturn in timber markets. DNV externally verified the report and concluded it provided an accurate and fair representation of the implementation of sustainability and corporate reporting policies.
