Sustainability Report

The report presents Fortum's 2011 transition toward Solar Economy, with around 65% of total electricity production CO2-free. Group sales were EUR 6,161 million and year-end personnel were 10,780. Environmental reporting records 23.5 million tonnes of CO2 and 3,850 million m3 of water use. Occupational safety improved, although one contractor fatality occurred.
