Overview

The report presents freenet Group's first ESRS-aligned consolidated sustainability statement for 2024, based on a first-time double materiality assessment. It reports 106,110.9 t CO2eq of location-based gross total GHG emissions and a target to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by around 63% by 2030 from 2022. Renewable sources represented 80.2% of total energy consumption, while the Group reported 3,450 employees. ESG oversight is assigned to the full Supervisory Board and the statement was voluntarily subjected to limited assurance.
