Overview

The report describes Freeport-McMoRan's 2024 sustainability performance across responsible copper production, safety, climate and water stewardship. The company achieved a consolidated TRIR of 0.52, its best performance in more than a decade, although two logistics contractors were fatally injured. Global absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions totaled approximately 7.9 million metric tons, while 83% of total water use came from recycled or reused sources. The report also presents extensive ESG performance data and independent assurance by Ernst & Young LLP.
