Overview

The report presents Fresh Del Monte's 2020 sustainability performance, including Scope 1 emissions of 903,391.22 metric tons CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 114,316.42 metric tons CO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 1,347,655.48 metric tons CO2e. It reports that more than 14% of global energy came from renewable sources and that 90% of global food waste was diverted from landfill. It also describes two Costa Rican operations as certified Carbon Neutral and reports 168,342 trees planted in 2020.
