The report describes the development of a group human-rights policy based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. It reports 59 work-related fatalities in 2012, down from 76 in 2011. G4S also reports a 16% reduction in carbon intensity from 2009 to 2012, exceeding its 13% target for that period.
